Welcome to Preferred Property Solutions, Inc.  We are a "right sized" property management company experienced in industrial, office, retail, medical, multi-family and single-family residential properties.  Right sized means that we are large enough to utilize state of the art industry tools, such as the most current AppFolio property management software, and provide comprehensive, large scale solutions.  It also means that we are small enough to provide hands-on, personalized service that you require as a property owner.  So, whether you prefer only a monthly update, or prefer communication throughout the month and hands-on involvement with your property, right sized means that we can easily pivot based on individual owner needs and requirements, providing exceptional customer service to both owners and tenants.  We pride ourselves on building strong and long term relationships, with an owner prioritized approach.  So, with Preferred Property Solutions, you are always more than a line item on a General Ledger Report.

  • What Makes Preferred Property Solutions a Great Choice?

    Quite simply because we do an excellent job!  We have been providing property management services for over 16 years to a wide variety of owners and properties, with a commitment to integrity and quality of service.  We have been CA DRE licensed and incorporated since 2007, with our CA DRE broker license transferred under our corporation since 2020.  Furthermore, we are fully covered under E&O and General Liability Insurance.   We really like what we do, and would love to learn more about your property management needs.

  • How do Tenants Pay Rent?

    Log into your online portal to pay your rent. If you are not yet registered, please create an account here!

  • How Does a Tenant Submit a Maintenance Request?

    Please submit a maintenance request through the tenant portal

    1. From the Home or Maintenance tab, click Request Maintenance.
    2. Enter a detailed description of the issue, upload one or more photos of the item needing attention, then click Submit Request.

    We utilize a prescreened list of vendors to address and quickly resolve maintenance issues at your property. Tenants are kept up to date on scheduling, progress and completion (and owners too, if requested).

  • What Do You Charge to Manage My Property?

    Our fees are very competitive and will be discussed with you during initial consultation. Our fees will also be clearly detailed in your management agreement.  We prefer to charge a straightforward fee for most of our services without surprises, versus the line item fee schedule of many other property management companies.

  • How Do You Fill Vacancies?

    As most prospective renters start their search online, we market and post residential vacancies to over a hundred websites, including the most common of Zillow, Realtor.com, Apartments.com, Trulia, etc.  We also market select commercial properties, but typically maximize partner relationships with trusted commercial real estate brokerage firms, specializing in the specific areas needed.

  • How Do You Screen Applicants?

    We want the best tenants possible for your property.  With that in mind, we utilize a comprehensive screening process that includes current credit reports, background screening, income verification, prior rental history, and landlord references both current and past.  We also prefer onsite showings to prospective renters, in order to meet them personally.
